Description
Panzergrenadiere today - German Armoured Infantry reference to more than 70 years of development of a proud combat arm, including 60 years of tradition established as part of the ground forces of the modern German Army.
Integrated into armoured forces of the German Army, the combat arm in the future will face various operational scenarios, ranging from stabilisation operations to high-intensity warfighting as part of an all-arms combat formation. The current security policy refocusing on national and collective defence still requires its capabilities, including quick changes of tactics, namely mounted and dismounted fighting. This publication tells the history and organisation of the Panzergrenadiertruppe but first and foremost shows its modern fighting and support vehicles in action.
