Description
After World War I, the Swiss Army upgraded its armoured weaponry with numerous foreign models, such as the French Renault FT or the Czech Panzer 39. During the Cold War, the Swiss then relied on the tried and tested British "Centurion" before starting to build their own tank in the late 1950s. In this type compass, Marc Lenzin and Stefan Bührer provide a comprehensive overview of all important armoured vehicles of the Swiss Army based on current research. The presentation is supplemented by impressive pictures and maps.
