Description
On 1000 pages the subject of the Bavarian Military Merit Medal (Medal of Bravery) in the Franco-Prussian War of 1870/71 is dealt with extensively and exhaustively. On 610 pages, the holders of the gold and silver Military Merit Medal 1870/71 are presented with the deeds that led to their award. The appendices offer on 390 pages, among other things, the awards by name, arranged by date, by troop units, award numbers, statutes, picture section, excerpts from the ordinance sheets of the K.-B. War Ministry and publications of the time on the 100th anniversary of the Military Merit Medal, supplementary also on the 49 Knights of the Military Max Joseph Order with their pictures and deeds which led to their acceptance into the Order.
