This book is an easy-to-read, user-friendly companion to Airline Fleets Quick Reference (AFQR). It covers not only the jet and turbine operators featured in AFQR, but also operators of piston aircraft engaged in parcel delivery, tourist charter, emergency medical services, firefighting, and some police and surveillance activities, up to the size of a Cherokee Six. In total, fleet operators from over 200 countries with more than 2,900 operators and nearly 50,000 individual aircraft are included. In addition to the information contained in the AFQR, previous identities, call signs, special liveries, fleet numbers, leasing details and important bases of operation with the corresponding IATA codes are also listed. There are 41 pages of indexes, including a list of operators deleted since the 2024 edition with an explanation for the deletion, as well as IATA and ICAO operator designators with cross-references to the operators. There are also indexes for operators, nationality prefixes and airline alliances. Most useful are the additional 27 pages listing jet and turbine aircraft used by companies, governments and military VIPs, listed by type, and three pages at the end of the book for notes. Overall, information is included up to 28 February 2025.
