Description
Biography. Jodl was Hitler's operational advisor from 1939 -1945. Originally Hitler's opponent, he later became enmeshed in a faith that stood up to clear military intelligence. Thus he developed into a member of the dictator's closest entourage. Accused after the end of the war, he was executed by hanging in 1946. The leitmotif of this comprehensive account is the doom of absolutised obedience.
