Description
Jan Munk describes his motives for volunteering to fight Bolshevism. He gives a brief insight into his childhood and youth up to his volunteer registration with the Waffen-SS. Together with many other European volunteers, he fought in the ranks of the SS regiment "Westland" and experienced deployment on the Eastern Front. After being paroled and wounded at the front, he was sent to the SS Junker School in Bad Tölz for the 18th War Junker Course. In the last stages of the war, he was transferred to the 38th SS Grenadier Division "Nibelungen", which was still being formed. Here the revenge of the victors awaited him.
