In this series of five books on the crew of the battleship "Bismarck", the authors tell the stories of over 400 crew members from a wide variety of areas on board, from commanders to ordinary sailors. This volume 2 deals with the stories of the professional personnel. It deals with the functionaries and medical personnel of the 7th Division, the artillery mechanics and fireworkers of the 8th Division as well as the navigation section, the intelligence service and the ship's music platoon, which belonged to the 9th Division.

In 84 portraits, the author duo describes the lives of individual crew members of the specialist personnel and presents not only the men themselves but also their areas of work in detail. Of course, pictures and technical drawings are not to be missed. The portraits are preceded by the corresponding excerpt from the crew list, arranged according to specialist areas and grade groups.
