Description
An account of the turmoil and the participation of Austria-Hungary's naval power in its defeat in 1900-1901. The first part of this detailed description of the events surrounding the Boxer Rebellion in China deals with the prehistory of the conflict as well as the military and political actions of all the actors in this crisis, i.e. also the Western powers allied with Austria-Hungary as well as the various factions in the Middle Kingdom. The second, shorter section deals in detail with the undertakings of the Austro-Hungarian naval forces in the Far East.
