Description
The history of the cavalry skirmish near Zehdenick on 26 October 1806. The prehistory of the cavalry encounter, the role of the commanders Joachim Murat, Marshal of France, and Friedrich Ludwig Fürst zu Hohenlohe-Ingelfingen, the role of Christoph Johann Friedrich Otto von Zieten, the individual phases of the skirmish, the losses. In the further course, the battle at Liebenwalde mentioned in the title and the fate of the town of Zehdenick are described. The book concludes with an excursion report of several pages to the sites of the battles at Zehdenick and Liebenwalde.
