1) AH-64D in Victory Strike
In preparation of the war in Iraq, the 11th Attack Helicopter Regiment and the 173d Infantry Brigade (Airborne) trained in "Victory Strike III" in Poland. This was the first time in Europe that the AH-64D Longbow Apache was operational. The AH-64D is the focus of attention in Operation "Iraqi Freedom" and the 173d Airborne is currently operating in northern Iraq, fighting alongside the Kurds.
2) Wiesel Airborne Weapon Platform
The Wiesel is the German airborne forces airmobile weapon platform. Light, agile, armed with either 20mm cannon or TOW, the Wiesel provides the modern Fallschirmjager with armor protection. The Wiesel served well in Kosovo and Kabul with the German peacekeepers.
3) Spanish Mechanized Division "Brunete"
The "Brunete" Division consists of mechanized infantry brigades, field artillery regiment, light cavalry regiment, AA regiment, engineer regiment and logistics units. The division has Leopard 2A4 tanks, Pizarro AIFV, M113 APC, VEC armored car, M-109A5, M110A2 and other supporting vehicles in its arsenal.
