"Heer im Focus" is a series of booklets compiled by a team of renowned army experts. The aim of these booklets is to focus on those battles, vehicles, equipment and soldiers that have been neglected in previous literature. As with "Luftwaffe im Focus" and "U-Boot im Focus", thorough research takes precedence over speed of publication. The reader will read accounts here that are described completely differently elsewhere. A thorough research of sources is the basis of all statements made and the selection of the pictorial material shown. It should also be noted that all troops that were on ground operations are covered. This also includes Luftwaffe units such as paratroopers, Luftwaffe field divisions or anti-aircraft units. Unique original Agfa colour slides from private collections are also used for the illustrations. Photographs that have never been shown before and which show the events in a completely different light. But the magazine not only has a lot to offer historians and army enthusiasts; model builders also get their money's worth in view of the excellent model templates (bw- and colour photos as well as colour profiles). Diorama builders are also catered for.The magazine therefore differs from other magazines that also deal with this subject. The size of each issue will vary depending on the articles. This means that there will be no uniform price. This will be based on the size of each individual issue."Heer im Focus" is published at irregular intervals. Each issue will contain approx. 60 to 80 unpublished photographs from private collections with detailed bilingual information (German and English) as well as articles on special Army topics.
