Description
Following along with the same format that has been used previously in their books we learn:
Development and Technical descriptions of the le. F.H. 18 and its derivatives plus camouflage and markings.
Development of the Wespe and Munitionstrager auf Sd.Kfz. 124
A very meticulous section on the use of the vehicle by Panzer, SS Panzer and Grenadier Divisions as well after action reports can also be found in this section along with information on the Hummel-Wespe with a rare image of one.
Next up is the black& white period photos of the le. F.H.18 and Wespe with a total of a whopping 68 pages. These are all captioned concisely as one would expect with all Nuts & Bolts book.
The next segment of the book is 1/35 scale drawings of the le.FH.18 with the different wheel types plus the limber followed with isometric line drawings . The Wespe follows this with its 1/35 scale drawings and isometric drawings showing interior fighting compartment. The last part of the chapter is colour profiles of the Wespe as well as ammunition used.
The following 38 pages shows very in depth colour walk around of the towed gun and fighting vehicle.
Last but not least is the model section showing two builds by Tony Greenland of the le Fh18 and Wespe.
